#AVAST PASSWORDS NOT WORKING THE EXTENSION IS NOT ACTIVATED PASSWORD#
I hope things begin to get better with update, as week as apps though I'm not to optimistic 😏)īut please either figure out why password storage is not working and/or extension capability as I'd prefer LastPass, but this is really a basic feature & really should not have to be begged for a fix from users. I am seriously considering going back to iPhoneĪnd just spending the ridiculous price increase for more storage (expansion slot is another WP pro). But MS does not seem to care, in all their approaches to mobile dev, getting rid of basically all Nokia employees. I prefer Windows Phone- UI, storage, features, and overall environment. I still cannot save passwords- anyone found a solution as of 3-8-17.? Using Edge on my Lumia 1520 doesn't prompt to save nor does the "manage PWs" areas have the option (plus sign) I've seen in support for adding manually. WHY does Microsoft ignore the PROBLEM and cut and paste the simple how-to-use text suitable for only someone who has never used a computer!? If not for the passwords module alone, I would ditch Avast Premium Security in a heartbeat and just use Microsoft Defender, which I'm convinced does just as good a job as any other commercial. Most users posting here on issues I've encountered are fairly well versed in troubleshooting, and ate familiar with basic functionality, even when stating attempted solutions before resorting to MS support. EXACTLY!!! This is more annoying than the problem. If the PIA Chrome extension is giving you problems, you will need to clear the browser cache and cookies. Select Browse and enter the account name in the section ‘Enter the object name to select’.
